The era of foldable smartphones has arrived, but the innovation doesn't stop there. BlackBerry and Alcatel owner TCL is preparing a foldable smartphone that can bend to form a smartwatch.
TCL is known for making affordable TVs and is actually one of the largest TV manufacturers. According to CNET, TCL is working on five different foldable device models, one of which is a phone that could transform into a smartwatch.
However, details about TCL's device are not available at this time and the only proof we have is a leaked image.
There's also an image that describes how the smartwatch will work, but the more important question is whether the foldable phone will automatically fold if we tap it on our wrist.
We'll have to wait a little longer to learn more specific details about the phone, but we expect TCL to reveal more at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week.
