Huawei is expected to announce two new and exciting phones during MWC 2017, the Huawei P10 and P10 Lite. Some recent reports have revealed some of the specifications for the two upcoming devices, and the latest rumors say that the flagship Huawei P10 could indeed be the most expensive phone in the P series.
The Huawei P10 could be announced next month during MWC, which starts on February 26 and ends on March 2. The event will be hosted in Barcelona and many smartphone manufacturers are expected to showcase new flagships and other devices.
A recent report reveals that the P10 could be priced higher than last year's Huawei P9, which was released in April and was priced at around $644 when it launched. The P9 Plus cost $805 when it launched.
The P10 won't cost as much as the Mate 9 Porsche Design Edition, which means it will cost less than $1,498. The P9 was the first Huawei smartphone to feature a dual-camera setup. The P10 is expected to feature at least the same camera as its predecessor, hopefully with some improvements.
The P10 is rumored to be powered by a Kirin 960 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone could also feature a 5.5-inch display with curves on both edges and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The fingerprint sensor should be integrated into the phone, and the smartphone could be launched in more than one variant, depending on the amount of storage.
The P9 came with a 3,000mAh battery, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, but there was also a variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow while the P10 is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat at launch.
