One of the camera cars used by Google for Street View has been shrunk for a special mapping project by Hamburg-based German company Miniatur Wunderland, which is attempting to build a model of the world.
Currently, Miniatur Wunderland is one of the most successful permanent exhibitions in Northern Germany and Google is reportedly preparing to map the project.
Miniatur Wunderland includes Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore, in a space of 1,300 square meters, about a quarter of the size of a football field.
With 200,000 miniature population figures and 13,000 kilometers of railway track, the company claims to have the largest model of its kind in the world.
It looks a lot like our own world, and imagine that the model is still under construction.
According to the company, the size of the imaginary microcosm will have doubled in size by 2020.
