Electronics store Maplin in England, seeing this gap in the market, opened the world's first drone school
According to PCR, trainees will be trained on a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced Quadcopter Drone by expert Russell Stephens.
The first lessons will take place at Maplin's headquarters in Rotherham.
Among the first things Stephens will teach the team is how to capture video and safely fly drone within the framework of American CAA legislation (equivalent to our own Civil Aviation Authority).
The Maplin company is a successful retail store selling drones.
Currently the company's best seller is the Parrot Bebop Drone with Skycontroller (£ 699,99 = € 945) and the top is the Chroma Quadcopter Drone (£ 1.099,99 = € 1.486).
The company, cleverly thinking, knows that these kids who will “study” at the “Quadcopter Academy” are in reality future purchasers of their products, but also their best future advertisers.
