The world's first smartphone with a flexible display, the Samsung Galaxy Round, has been officially unveiled in South Korea.
Although not yet available on the market yet, Samsung claims that the smartphone will start selling no later than October 10th.
Samsung did not reveal the specifications of the Galaxy Round. It only mentioned that the smartphone boasts a huge 5.7 - inch full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED flexible display that is only 7.9 mm thick. It is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 154 grams. Its battery is 2,800 mAh and it will run the latest version of Android Jelly Bean 4.3.
Inside, the phone is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3 GHz, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Keep in mind, the device also has a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 64GB.
