Google's Project Glasses are amazing. Although few people have seen and used them yet, the reviews are pretty positive, even though it's a little strange to have a computer in front of your face.
Google has not yet officially announced a release date for the glasses, but has allowed several developers to pre-order them for $1,500. However, a new report released today claims that Google will release the glasses in 2013 and that they will also work with iPhones.
According to The Verge, Google Glass will be compatible with both Android devices and iPhones.
The device can collect data on its own via WiFi, but it can also connect via Bluetooth to Android and iPhone devices so you can use their 3G or 4G when you're out and about. The glasses don't have an antenna themselves, but they do have GPS.
So you'll need to connect it to your smartphone to use it on the road, unless a city is full of free WiFi, which isn't possible. The Verge went on to say that they'll cost less than $1,500 and be available before the end of 2013.
