According to a report by Forbes, the well-known team evad3rs, creators of the Evasi0n Untethered Jailbreak iOS 6.1, still have some exploits up their sleeves for future jailbreaks. While the Evasi0n Jailbreak took a little longer than expected, since iOS 6 was released in September, planetbeing, a member, reports that there will be future jailbreaks.
The post states that planetbeing claims that the iOS 6 jailbreak has been ready for about a month now, despite its public release last week. During that time, the team has been researching less important exploits for the Evasi0n jailbreak because they wanted to save more important exploits for future versions of iOS, possibly iOS 7.
Apple has tried to change things up in the security department in the latest version of iOS 6, but that doesn't mean there won't be future jailbreaks. Planetbeing reports that while the exploits they currently have can't jailbreak future versions of iOS on their own, with more research, the team is confident that it's entirely possible.
The kids are probably right about the game, it's already known to us, and not just for Apple and evad3rs. Remember Adobe and XFORCE, the thousands of releases of CORE. If you plan to upgrade to Apple's next iOS, you shouldn't worry. The Jailbreak for iOS 7 may be slow to appear, but it will come. After all, what locks, unlocks….
