This guy hacked the Pokémon Go code to find the rarest Pokemon that's supposedly not in the game yet!
If you're a Pokémon Go player, you probably know all about Mewtwo. Mewtwo happens to be a rare Pokemon that Niantic and Nintendo haven't released in the game yet. But Mewtwo exists in the code , so what YouTuber, FrozenAquaCat did was hack into the Pokémon Go code and see the rare Pokemon Mewtwo.
FrozenAquaCat also modified Pokémon Go's code to make the most common Pokemon called Rattata into something quite rare, like Ditto.
In two different videos posted online, FrozenAquaCat shows off his Pokémon Go code hacking skills.
He has achieved this by playing the game on a computer instead of a smartphone, spoofing his GPS location to make the game think he is walking. If you plan on copying FrozenAquaCat, you will find plenty of hacking instructions, but remember that you will be banned from the game permanently.
Business Insider notes a curious point in the video posted by FrozenAquaCat. Each Pokémon has an identification number attached to it: Ditto is #132, Pikachu is #025, and Zapdos is #145.
In the video, however, FrozenAquaCat enters the code "143," which causes Zapdos to hatch. #143 is actually the identification number for Snorlax, so we should view these two videos with some caution.
In case you don't like hacking, wait until Nintendo releases all of its Pokemon into the game's arena.
