A subdomain of the official website of the State Bank of Patiala in India (hindi.sbp.co.in) has been compromised by the Pakistani hacking group Pakistan Haxors Crew.
According to E Hacking News, the attack on the financial institution's website comes in response to cyberattacks carried out by Indian hacktivists on the website of Sui Southern Company Gas Limited (ssgc.com.pk).
TAJVEEZ News reported that Indian hackers were unhappy with having to "suffer" for 3 hours in line at CNG stations.
The website of State Bank of Patiala, which is an affiliate of State Bank of India, has been restored.
Over the past few weeks, both Indian and Pakistanihave stepped up attacks on government websites between the two countries.
