Sarakakis Group, a dealer and distributor of Honda, Mitsubishi, AB Volvo, Dupont, Komatsu Ltd, FIAT Group, etc., in Greece and Bulgaria, decided to migrate to Microsoft Dynamics AX in order to improve its IT infrastructure. The objectives of the IT infrastructure upgrade were to save resources, optimize communication with dealers in Greece and Bulgaria as well as internally among the company's 350 employees.

According to the relevant announcement, the introduction of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 brought significant benefits to the company, as it allowed it to proceed with a restructuring of the IT department and achieve significant savings. The introduction of the new software was made in the most important part of the business, that of import and distribution, mainly to improve communication between suppliers and sellers. There were also significant benefits in the company's operational processes, as communication, both between the representatives and the company and internally, became easier and more efficient.
