I live permanently in London and a few days ago I noticed the following: Through Google location history on my Android phone I saw that for 1 day for about 8 hours I was in Baku, Azerbaijan. The strange thing is that I have never been to Azerbaijan, but this happened during the submission of my Visa application through the embassy in London. Is there a possibility that Google Maps has made a mistake and with such a large deviation? Perhaps some governments try and succeed in gaining access to the accounts of people trying to issue Visas. Investigating the matter from our side, we are not aware of any error in Google Maps that gives coordinates in Location history with such a large deviation. On the contrary, SecNews, after a thorough investigation, received information (which we are examining) that the government of Azerbaijan and neighboring countries have acquired powerful, state-of-the-art cyber-weapons for use against mobile phones (mainly Android of any version, but also iPhones of previous generations and older iOS).
