Hacker Striker Rude, member of the Maximixers Team, managed to breach and deface the subdomain of the Thailand Police website, “finance.police.go.th”.
“The page belongs to The Rude – Team MaXiMiZerS. Secure it before I return again”, says the message posted by the hacker.
The attacker managed to upload a PHP file to the compromised website. A mirror of the attack is available on Dark-H.
This particular subdomain appears to be especially vulnerable to attacks, and it has also been compromised by other hackers.
Earlier this week, Striker Rude also carried out targeted attacks against high-profile Indian websites, specifically the Central Bank of India (centralbankofindia.co.in) and the State Bank of Patiala (sbp.co.in). Recently, the group has also attacked government sites in Bangladesh and Morocco.
