Hackers have posted online usernames and partial phone numbers from 4.6 million users of the photo-sharing service Snapchat.
According to TechCrunch, the SnapchatDB.info page has the information available for download.
By Wednesday evening, the SnapchatDB.info website had been down.
A SnapchatDB spokesperson said they were able to extract the information by exploiting a vulnerability in Snapchatthat made the data available. The attack was carried out in order for the service to take greater security measures.
We are awaiting the vulnerability update from the messaging app.
