How to control storage on your Mac

Upgrading the storage on your Mac isn't always easy, or even possible, so it's a good idea to know how much storage you have and how to free up more. Often, when you buy a Mac, its storage space is all you'll have, although external drives and storage space on cloud is always an option.

How to check the disk space on your Mac

Step 1: Select the menu Apple in the top left corner of your Mac screen, and then select About this Mac.
