The Charger SRT Daytona, Dodge 's all-electric muscle car concept , will reportedly feature a panoramic glass sunroof when it goes into production.

Citing sources close to the SRT Daytona project, Mopar Insiders reports that the next-generation Charger will be offered with a glass roof, like the one seen on the impressive concept car. This will be optional and should add a welcome dose of luxury to the package.
What else can we expect? Dodge insiders say the SRT Daytona will retain its sleek two-door silhouette. However, production models will be sold as a more practical four-door vehicle, like its predecessor. Last year, CarBuzz learned that an electric Dodge sedan would arrive by 2024, with a Chrysler- to follow a year later.
The all-electric models will be marketed as Charger Daytona models, while the internal combustion engine versions will be referred to as “Charger” and will receive the powerful twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six engine. In High Output mode, this powerful “six” delivers up to 500 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque.
As for the Daytona, Dodge will offer several performance levels that customers can upgrade to. Three levels of battery-electric drivetrain will be offered, and each version will be offered with upgrades (eStage 1 and eStage 2) that increase power output. The base and mid-range models will reportedly be powered by a 400-volt architecture, while the top-of-the-line Banshee will use an 800-volt setup.

While it may not sound as glorious as a Hellcat V8, Dodge is working on a unique Fratzonic Chambered exhaust.
Unlike a fake exhaust note, which channels a synthetic sound into the cabin, Dodge's solution amplifies the natural sound of the electric motors and channels it through a special chamber. It's an interesting idea, but we wonder if it will win over more traditional V8 fans.
In terms of styling, the Daytona variant will feature an R-Wing. This is a nod to previous models and directs airflow to the front intake, improving downforce. Supporting the aforementioned claim that it will arrive in 2024, insiders claim that the Charger and Charger Daytona will arrive in Q3 2024. Interestingly, the Challenger variant is expected to arrive before its four-door cousin.
Of course, this is all speculation until Dodge confirms these details. However, it all sounds possible, and we can't wait to see the Charger and Charger Daytona in production form when they arrive in the coming months.
