Disney Dreamlight Valley already had a Star Path filled with Steamboat Willie content for the 100thanniversary , so it's not that much of a surprise to see the legendary 1928 cartoon represented in Gameloft's new kart game, Disney Speedstorm. Steamboat Mickey, due out this summer, will be on the starting line, sporting a monochrome look and a sailor-style outfit.

The character will be part of the second season of the Early Access version, which is scheduled to launch after June 5, which is less than two months away. It's likely that the new racer will be accompanied by other themed content, as the current Monsters Inc season includes a track inspired by the Pixar and four characters from the series.
The new racer was announced by Disney D23, which tweeted a drawing of the black and white character.
Other characters already included in Disney Speedstorm include Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy, Hercules, the Beast and Jack Sparrow, as well as lesser-known characters like Figment – a purple dragon who is one of the mascots of the Epcot theme park at Walt Disney World.

Developers at Gameloft have promised to add more characters and more tracks with each season, so the only sure thing is that sooner or later we'll find out which other characters will join Steamboat Mickey and the Disney Speedstorm team.
