Taking the risk, SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk argued that the maiden voyage of the massive Starship spacecraft will be largely determined by luck.
With an estimated 50% success rate, SpaceX is excitedly preparing for the inaugural launch of Starship on an orbital test flight from its base in South Texas, according to Elon Musk.

To carry people and cargo around the moon, Mars, and beyond, SpaceX is currently building the mighty Starship. It's no surprise that Musk would want to tone down expectations as Starship approaches its widely anticipated maiden voyage. We've seen plenty of rockets crash during their initial launch – Japan's H3 rocket and RS1 are such cases.
