Call of Duty Warzone 2 is almost out, with the series' next battle royale arriving today while the old Warzone is being maintained.
Activision plans to take the current Warzone offline for maintenance two hours before that, so there will be no Warzone for about two hours on November 16th.
Call of Duty Warzone 2 launches on November 16th, but the exact time it will be available to play will depend on the region you're connecting from. See the release times below:

Once released, Warzone 2 will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5. For PC gamers, the Warzone sequel comes with one extra thing – in addition to Battle.net, fans will be able to download and play Warzone 2 via Steam.
Pre-loads for Call of Duty Warzone 2 have already begun on Monday, November 14. You can start preparing for the launch by downloading it from Steam or Battle.net. Warzone 2 has its own page on Steam, but on Battle.net it's alongside Modern Warfare 2.Together, they're a massive 125GB download, but the Warzone 2 pre-load from Steam alone is only 24GB.

If you're a Modern Warfare 2 on Battle.net and want to make room for Call of Duty Warzone 2, click the gear icon on the game page and select "modify install" to uninstall parts of the game you're not playing.
As for what's new in Warzone 2, in recent weeks Activision Blizzard has shared a lot of information about the battle royale's new features and gameplay mode.
The biggest addition to the series will be Call of Duty Warzone 2 's DMZ mode , which will force players to loot an open-world zone and get out alive. Yesterday, Activision Blizzard published a blog post about what the new game mode will entail.
“The goal is to loot and survive,” the article states. “It’s about exploring a world with AQ forces and enemy operators, completing missions and objectives, and returning with loot, money, valuables, and rewards to build your inventory for the next attempt.”
Within the DMZ zone, players will have to deal with radiation and sandstorms while completing tasks for a number of the game's factions. Earlier this week, the developers reportedly told streamers that the DMZ mode shouldn't be compared to Escape From Tarkov.
As for Warzone's traditional Battle Royale mode, players can expect a new Gulag that requires cooperation with opponents.
What will happen to the old Warzone?
Call of Duty: Warzone will go offline at 8 a.m. PT (4 p.m. GMT) on Wednesday, November 16, and will re-launch as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera at 10 a.m. PT (6 p.m. GMT) on Monday, November 28.

The original Call of Duty: Warzone isn't actually going away. Which is confusing, considering Activision officially refers to the new game as Call of Duty Warzone 2.0. But no, it's not replacing the old one. The Warzone you've been playing so far will go offline on November 16th and, about ten days later, will return under a new name, Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera. All existing weapons and cosmetics will remain in Warzone Caldera, though the Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep maps won't be returning.
