Tesla is trying to build more of its charging stations and is asking customers where to install them.

Tesla's public chargers, referred to as "Superchargers," allow drivers around the world to recharge their vehicles on the go. Until now, the company's 35,000 Superchargers have been strategically placed by Tesla in somewhat visible areas, such as along busy roads and highways. Now, however, Tesla is turning that aroundby asking drivers who they would like to see a Supercharger station installed.
“The Supercharger voting is coming soon. Reply with location suggestions — the most liked answers will be included in the poll,” the company tweeted. Users responded quickly. Alaska, Hawaii, and California’s Yosemite Valley were popular responses in the U.S., while Alberta, Canada, and parts of Saskatchewan were very popular internationally. (For some users, the prompt offered more than just a chance to post a photo of their area.)

Many drivers also suggested US national parks . While these are seemingly great answers, Tesla uses a second type of public charger called a Destination Charger, which is designed to charge vehicles for a longer period of time (i.e. a few hours or overnight). Some of these are already located in national parks, while others are located in hotel and mall parking lots .
The new Supercharger facilities won't just benefit Tesla drivers. Earlier this summer, the Biden-Harris administration announced that Tesla would open its charger network to other EV drivers by the end of 2022. This partnership will massively expand the country.

Tesla did not specify when said vote will take place, but the use of the word "poll" seems to imply that it will all be conducted on Twitter.
