Today, in the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin, the Huawei Consumer Business Group made the big unveiling of the Huawei Mate S smartphone, the device that will be the new flagship of the company's Mate series.

Today, Huawei also unveiled the new Huawei G8 for flawless low-light photography, featuring a 5.5-inch FHD display and 3000mAh battery along with the new innovative wearable Huawei Watch, with a 1.4-inch round AMOLED touchscreen AMOLED touchscreen coated with sapphire crystal for scratch resistance, 42mm diameter and 6-directional motion sensors.

The thickness of the phone is 7.2mm, with 2.65mm screen bezels. The "back" has an ergonomic construction for a comfortable grip and non-slip properties to prevent it from slipping from the hand.
The edge of the LCD screen is made of a transparent frame that elongates by 2.25mm and results in a narrow outer frame.
The phone has a metal body while the shell is designed entirely in metal.
Other notable features: 5.5-inch AMOLED FHD display, 2.5D display with Gorilla Glass and colour saturation display around 105% and 1800000:1 contrast ratio.
