Last night, iFixit published its first look inside the new iPhone 5S,and today it continues with its teardown of the iPhone 5C. What the website's investigation revealed was more or less known.
The plasticized iPhone 5 called the iPhone 5C is not new. What is new is the battery it uses. Its specifications: 3.8 V-5.73-Wh 1510 mAh, while the iPhone 5 has a battery with 3.8 V-5.45-Wh 1440 mAh.
The rear camera of the 5C is almost the same as that of the 5S: the only difference is the aperture, which is f/2.4 for the 5C and f/2.2 for the 5S.
Its plastic casing is very hard and almost impossible to bend. It is of course much heavier since it weighs 43.8g compared to the 5S which reaches 25.9g. This is because it needs more plastic to have the strength of aluminum.
