And just to keep you in suspense, the top 3 places are occupied by… China, Russia and Poland. It is also noteworthy that the USA and India, the well-known giants of the code, are low in the ranking, occupying 28th and 31st place, respectively.
If you're interested in computer programming, you've probably wondered which country produces the best crop of programmers and developers. A new report from HackerRank highlights the 10 countries that are leading the field, evaluating more than 1.5 million programmers and ranking them based on factors such as speed and accuracy.
The recent report shows that China has the best programmers in the world, followed by Russia and Poland. And while China emerged as the top country with a score of 100, the battle was decided… in the tenths, as Russia follows with a score of 99.9 out of 100.
China managed to outperform all other countries in the field of mathematics, data structures, and functional programming problems. Russia, which took the silver medal, dominated the field of algorithms.
The final top ten countries with the top developers were as follows:

- Taiwan
- France
- Czech Republic
- Italy
And while traditional programming superpowers like the US and India had the largest number of participants on HackerRank's website, their performance wasn't great. The US ranked 28th, and India 31st.
