Apple confirms unavailability of iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store and iBooks Store, as well as temporary outage of iCloud
In recent hours, Apple has been experiencing problems in providing its online services.
Apple's page, which displays the operational status of its services, states (with a delay of several hours) that the iTunes Store , App Store, Mac App Store and iBooks Store are not available for all users. It also confirms that iCloud and iCloud Mail were unavailable for approximately four hours , while this problem, according to Apple, affected all users.
Also, through the same page and for several hours, submitting a problem report resulted in a message stating that the process could not be completed, perhaps due to the unmanageable volume of messages.
According to statements from the company, the problems began before 11 am, Greek time.
In the iTunes Store, for example, although the content is still visible, it is not possible to connect the user to their Apple ID to confirm a purchase or any other action.
thenextweb.com reported that the TestFlight service, through which developers have access to beta versions of their applications, was also shut down.
According to several tweets, a large portion of Apple's online services appear to have been affected. Since the services are provided from different data centers per geographic region, user reports on the situation they are facing vary.
