The focus has been on improving communication between the car and the driver. Companies like Mercedes are adding ChatGPT for more natural voice interaction, while other manufacturers like Volkswagen, BMW, Sony/Honda and Hyundai are planning to integrate artificial intelligence for personalized experiences and improved speech to the car. However, the challenge remains in accurately recognizing voice commands, as well as avoiding misunderstandings that can affect road safety.

The problem we face is that it's not always easy to understand what we're saying. This is most evident in cheaper cars that have inadequate voice command systems, but it can happen even with Siri and Google Assistant.

Self-driving cars operate with limited autonomy, but they are not going to replace human drivers.

Artificial intelligence represents a significant challenge and has already been implemented in many areas of our lives. We have been warned that self-driving cars would be one of the next big areas in technology , requiring advanced knowledge of artificial intelligence. Now it seems that this development may be happening faster.

It was only a matter of time before the automotive industry realized the imperative for the use of artificial intelligence. This time, however, artificial intelligence can actually offer substantial advantages for the cars of the future.
