Ultimately, it's going to be a while before you can help take down the Justice League. As recently reported, Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios are pushing Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League back once again after a brutal backlash to a showcase for the game. Instead of the game releasing on May 26th, the title has been pushed back to February 2nd, 2024. This is yet another delay after Warner Bros. Games initially pushed the game back to a 2022 release window and then to a spring release window.

“We have made the difficult but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on ensuring the game delivers the best quality experience for players. We thank our amazing community for their continued support, patience, and understanding. There is much more to share in the coming months, and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year,” read the statement on the Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Twitter account.
Following the PlayStation State of Play in February, it seemed that Rocksteady's live service elements were the focus of criticism, with many reacting negatively to the always-online requirement (something Arcane is trying to eliminate from Redfall), as well as the gating of cosmetic items behind microtransactions and a battle pass system.

However, Rocksteady is reportedly using the extra time to improve the game rather than overhauling aspects of the live service. The studio will focus on eliminating bugs and improving elements it feels aren't good enough.
Whatever Rocksteady thinks it needs more time to work on, announcing an eight-month delay just six weeks before the game's supposed release doesn't look good. Still, WB has the best-selling title of the year so far, which may give it more flexibility to push Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to early 2024. When it finally arrives, the co-op action-adventure game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
