This release is part of Ubisoft's partnership with Netflix, as it is the second of three exclusive games from the developers to be released on the Netflix platform. The first game was Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, which was released in January.

Additionally, Netflix appears to be working with Super Evil Megacorp to create another exclusive game based on an upcoming release on the platform. No further information is available.

Netflix's VP of External Games recently said that the company is focusing more on mobile and that they are working on their own cloud streaming technology, something that the VP of Gaming had also mentioned last October.

As for game releases, Netflix revealed that Terra Nil will be available on March 28th.

The company's goal, the VP says, is to offer games that appeal to all of its subscriber base, and that it aims to do this by creating and adding games for all users, regardless of whether they are gamers or not. Although he did not reveal the number of 230 million subscribers who play games on the platform, he noted that Netflix is very happy with the progress so far and that it will see even greater growth with the addition of new titles as time goes on.
