Spam has become a global nuisance that we are all unfortunately beginning to experience. Whether it is a Message or a phone call, they can quickly turn your day upside down, wasting valuable time and energy. Despite the great improvement in spam filters, occasionally some still pass them by. Especially when it comes to calls, vendors are finding inventive ways to bypass the safeguards in place for protection us.

Spam calls are unsolicited calls from anonymous numbers that are often used for malicious purposes, such as identity theft. To protect yourself from scams and other malware, it's important to know how to avoid spam calls.

The WABetaInfo stumbled upon this feature while testing the code in a recent beta version of the app for Android. The site promises that you can select a feature to block calls from suspicious numbers. This function will not only recognise calls, but will keep them in the call logs and also display notifications. One of the biggest advantages is that you won't be interrupted or distracted by incoming calls. Even if, due to some unforeseen circumstances, a call from someone you are familiar with goes unnoticed - their number can always be easily accessible and you can contact them later via call or text.

Although this feature was included in the beta version of the app, it was not functional for users. As with any product under Development, there is always the possibility that it will never reach full Traffic. In addition, it is likely that the product will be included in the next public release. While it is understandable to get excited when we see a new feature, we cannot be sure how the product will ultimately evolve. Therefore, caution is advised and we should hold our expectations until they are released.
