Galaxy A54, Galaxy A34 could be announced on March 15

Noted leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks on Twitter) says that Samsung could announce its next mid-range smartphones – the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 – on March 15. This prediction generally matches our expectations, as it would mark almost exactly one year since the anniversary of the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33, which were announced on March 17, 2022.

This rumor should be taken with a grain of salt, like all rumors. However, Mr. Hemmerstoffer is so confident in its credibility that he chose to share it on Twitter. In any case, even if this rumor is not true, we are definitely going to see the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 introduced in the coming weeks and will probably end up being the best mid-range phones for 2023 soon.

After all the previous rumors and leaks, we now have a strong picture of what Samsung's upcoming mid-range phones will bring.

What image do we have of the Galaxy A54?

Samsung's much-anticipated mid-range device, the Galaxy A54, is expected to be powered by the brand new Exynos 1380. It will also come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate – just a bit lower than its predecessor – the Galaxy A53!

In terms of storage, the Galaxy A54 is equipped with 8GB of RAM and a choice of 128 or 256GB. But be warned – there’s no microSD for later expansion, so you’ll need to choose carefully before settling on that. To offer ultimate photography versatility in the mid-range, Samsung has equipped the A54 with a powerful triple camera system: 50MP primary lens- 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens- 5MP telephoto lens!

Equipped with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, the Samsung Galaxy A34 will feature FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, it will be available in two RAM /storage configurations – 6 or 8GB RAM and 128/256GB. The rear cameras consist of a 48MP main shooter along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro camera, while the 13MP selfie camera is placed on the front

Reports suggest that this phone will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging capability, as well as IP67 water resistance. Furthermore, the mid-range device will run Android alongside Samsung's One UI for a streamlined user experience - not that this is a big surprise considering who made it.
