Today, Spotify unveiled the launch of its new plus button that combines the “heart” and “Add to playlist” icons into one. With this unified feature, users can now save any song, album, playlist, audiobook, podcast, or episode they come across with just one click!

To add a song to “Liked Songs,” users tap the “plus” button located on the right side in the “Now Playing View.” After tapping on it, the icon will change to a green check mark to let the user know it has been saved to the list. Then, if users want to add the song to another playlist, they can tap the plus icon again. Users can also select the new button on podcast episodes and add them to “Your Episodes.”

Starting today, the new icon is now accessible to Spotify users on iOS and Android devices. While many people have already experienced this change due to testing that has been going on since last year, all subscribers will see the change in the coming weeks.
