The Siduction distribution is a desktop operating system based on the “unstable” branch of Debian GNU/Linux. It has been forked since late 2011, and offers many different live dvd's for desktops. So you'll find flavors in KDE, LXQt, GNOME, Cinnamon, MATE, XFCE, LXDE, and X.Org.
The project promises regular updates, an open development model, a very friendly community, and a direct relationship with the developer.
Today Ferdinand Thommes announced the release of Siduction 17.1.0. in KDE, LXQt, GNOME, Cinnamon, MATE, XFCE, LXDE, X.Org and noX flavors. The fact that it uses Debian “Stretch” allows the release of new applications (packages) and scripts.
The updated distribution features a brand new installer and a custom-patched version of Linux Kernel 4.10. It supports X.Org server 1.19.2 and systemd 232.
