This year's event is supported by the music streaming service Akazoo, the company Vermantia, which specializes in technological applications and the creation of virtual, lottery and mobile games, and the company Trebbble, which specializes in the field of innovative mobile applications.

Among the supporters of gi-Cluster Game Jam 2014 is the Panhellenic Entertainment Software Developers Association (HGDA) which will make its expertise and a team of active volunteers available to the organization. Lancom will also provide all the technical and online support for the event, the Battlenet Internet Station in Pefkakia will host the awards ceremony for the winners and finally Red Bull will provide “wings” to the participants.

The competition is fully supported by Corallia, the Supporting Agency of gi-Cluster, which will grant the big winners the opportunity, if they wish, to join the gi-Cluster business acceleration program, where they will be provided with office space (co-working space), mentoring by distinguished executives of gi-Cluster members, access to training and the possibility of direct networking with the cluster's business ecosystem.

The gi-Cluster Game Jam 2014 is co-financed by national resources and the European Regional Development Fund, through the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013, within the framework of the project "Creation and Operation of a Management Structure and Development of a Cooperative Formation of Game Technologies and Creative Content" implemented by Corallia as the Supporting Body of the gi-Cluster.

gi-Cluster is the first Greek innovation cluster in the creative industries, especially in the entertainment software and digital content sector. It was established in early 2012, with the support of Corallia as a facilitator. Its mission is to create a world-class, fully functional business innovation ecosystem, aimed at producing new technologies and competitive products, leveraging scientific, business and research talent from all sectors of Game Technologies & Creative Content, contributing substantially to improving Greece's position in the international competitiveness rankings.
