Nimble's SharePower is a 10,000mAh Power Bank that splits into two

This week, Nimble introduced SharePower, an innovative power bank that offers unique flexibility in charging your devices. The SharePower can be used as a single charger or split into two separate chargers, allowing for sharing with a friend. This feature makes it especially useful for situations where multiple people need to charge their devices at the same time.

The SharePower is a 10,000mAh power bank, with 5,000mAh available on each side of the device. The two halves connect magnetically to charge one smartphone, or can be separated to charge two devices simultaneously. During our testing, we had the opportunity to examine the functionality of the SharePower before its official release.

Each side of the SharePower features a USB-C cable. The left side has a 7-inch braided cable that doubles as a lanyard and can be tucked away when the two halves are connected and the cable isn't in use. The right side of the power bank has a short USB-C cable that sticks out. This side is especially convenient, as the cable plugs into the bottom of the iPhone and is compact in size.

The longer cable is useful if you need a little more length when charging.

In testing, both units charged at the advertised speeds, but we noticed a faint electronic sound while charging, regardless of whether one unit was used or both together. 5,000mAh is not enough to fully charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max, but the combined 10,000mAh can do it. When the two halves are connected, they provide up to 35W of power to quickly charge an iPhone, while when separated, each half offers 20W of charging.

The SharePower has two additional USB-C ports, one on each side, allowing you to charge up to four devices at once when the power bank is separate, and three when it's joined. The 20W output might be a bit slow for the iPhone 17 Pro models, which require a higher-wattage charger for fast charging, but the ability to split the charger is useful if two people need power at the same time.

An LCD screen shows the remaining charge when the two halves are together and when they are separated, offering a smart design. The left side has indicator lights to show the battery level when separated, while the right side has a percentage display. When the two halves are reunited, the percentage display changes to the combined total instead of just the right side's battery level. When your device is fast charging, there is a green PD light to let you know.

While there are smaller power banks on the market, the SharePower's dual-sided design makes it unique. Measuring 2.8 inches by 3.1 inches and one inch thick, the SharePower is quite compact and weighs about 215 grams. It comes with an additional USB-C cable for charging, offering even more flexibility.
