Pinterest a partnership with select sites to display their most popular Pins within the sites themselves. This means that Pinterest will not only be sending users to the sites, but the sites themselves will be sending users back to it.
Currently, you can find the Most Popular Pins tool on the following sites: AllRecipes, Better Homes and Garden, BuzzFeed, Disney sites Babble and BabyZone, Elle Magazine, Mashable, ModCloth, NBC News Digital's iVillage, Nestlé, Random House, Snapguide, Target, Walmart, Wayfair, Whole Foods, Zappos, Zulily.
In the coming weeks, we expect to see more tools using Pinterest's API (Application Programming Interface), such as domain search, recent Pins, and related Pins, within the sites.
