Chrome comes with new parental control feature

There have been a few rumors circulating lately that Google is moving towards adding a brand new parental control feature to Chrome, which was confirmed on Tuesday when the new tool was integrated into Chrome beta.

So, Chrome and Chrome OS should soon become even more popular among parents and educators who want to make sure they control what their children visit online, as well as have the ability to restrict their access to various websites.

The new feature is called "Supervised Users" and expands the capabilities of Google's operating system by finally allowing the use of multiple accounts with different privileges.

For example, the main Chrome OS account could be used to create a secondary account that can be monitored. Similar to other parental control software, users will be able to review browsing history, create lists of websites that children can or cannot access, and manage permissions for various blocked websites that children have requested access to.
