The Indiana Jones game from Bethesda studio and Wolfenstein developer MachineGames has finally been announced. The game, called “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” was revealed during Microsoft’s Developer Direct event.

It is an action-adventure that takes place in both first and third person, depending on the setting, and is set between the films Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Bethesda's Todd Howard is attached as executive producer. There is no release date yet, but Microsoft says it will be released later in 2024 for Xbox and PC.
The Indiana Jones game was first announced in 2021, and last year it was announced that it would be exclusive to Xbox and PC.
And yes, there is plenty of whip action.
The revelation comes as Lucasfilm is working with several major studios to bring its properties to the video game space, especially when it comes to Star Wars. Respawn, the studio behind Titanfall, has already created two Jedi games, with more in the works. Ubisoft is working on an open-world game called Outlaws, which is expected to release this year, while Quantic Dream is working on a narrative-focused spinoff called Eclipse. (Meanwhile, a remake of the classic RPG Knights of the Old Republic appears to be struggling.)
