Aside from the fact that it belonged to the G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan, this BMW 850i with the V12 engine and the 6-speed manual gearbox is quite desirable and in its own way.

Michael Jordan owned countless cars during his heyday with the Chicago Bulls in the 90s. He would often show up to practice in a new Porsche , Mercedes , or Ferrari , and his love for fast cars hasn't waned since. Anyone with that much money from the NBA and Nike would do the same. However, he didn't own many of those cars for very long, which means that many of the cars that Jordan owned are still around. The current owner bought the 1995 E31 850i and, between his ownership and Jordan's ownership, has driven only 30,000 miles. To prove that some of those miles were driven by the GOAT himself, the seller provides the relevant documentation with MJ's signature.
As for the car itself, it's as fresh as an E31 8-series can get. As an 850i, it packs a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V12 and this particular one has the optional six-speed manual transmission . Since BMW wasn't much into all-wheel drive in the early '90s, the 850i sends all 375 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels only . This car was also painted Mauritius Blue and had a Light Parchment interior . It's unclear if Jordan installed the body kit and AC Schnitzer wheels , but they look great nonetheless.
The BMW 850i is still an impressive car today, which unfortunately suffered from some electrical malfunctions, so it was not the most reliable car. However, it was one of BMW's most interesting cars from its most exciting era. It has an excellent appearance, with its design that has been well preserved and the wonderful V12 engine of 375 horsepower and the combination of six gears.
There are currently five days left in the auction and the current bid is $ 30,000 . Considering its low mileage, condition, great styling, interesting AC Schnitzer parts, and a top NBA player as the first owner, I can imagine this will break auction records for E31 8 Series.
