This Apple Watch battery drain issue seems to be affecting a wide range of Apple Watch users, including newer models like the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2, as well as older models like the Apple Watch Series 4. Affected users are reporting that their battery life started draining unusually quickly after updating to watchOS 10.1.

Apple's letter also doesn't provide specific information about how widespread the problem is. Unfortunately, Apple didn't provide further details about when this update will be released.
