WhatsApp updated its European privacy policy to create new expected features.
The updates include new parts of the Privacy Policy that relate to new updates, such as service Communities, details on how to interact with wearables, such as the glasses Ray-Ban of the company Facebook and the avatars.
A previous update of its privacy policy WhatsApp was incredibly controversial, leading to some reports that WhatsApp was providing personal information of its users to its parent company Meta. The outcry was quite large, causing the app to be forced to delay its release for a few months, in early 2021.

Throughout the outcry over the prior privacy policy update, the WhatsApp insisted that these stories were misleading and that it would not provide personal user data to the parent company Meta in any case. However, he admitted that he failed to properly communicate the details of the policy to users to inform them, so it was understandable that there was so much outcry.
The company said this time that the privacy policy updates were only intended to make further room for new upcoming features of the app and would not lead to changes in the way the messaging service works.
"We look forward to bringing new features to the app this year and we're giving people in the European region more information, letting them know how these privacy features work," said a spokesperson for WhatsApp.
