How to change screen brightness with Quick Settings
First, click the Quick Settings on your taskbar, which is a hidden button located where you see the icons for Wi-Fi, speaker, and battery in the lower-right corner.
When the Quick Settings menu appears, locate the brightness setting, which is represented by an icon that looks like a sun. Click (or tap) and drag the circle on the bar to increase or decrease your screen brightness.

The sun icon gets bigger or smaller depending on the brightness you choose. After you adjust the brightness, you can close the Quick Settings menu by clicking anywhere outside the menu or by selecting the Quick Settings button on the taskbar again.

In the display settings, scroll down to the “Brightness & Color” section. In the “Brightness” section, you can adjust the brightness of your screen.

When you're done, close Settings. Any time you need to adjust your brightness, revisit Settings > System > Display or use the Quick Settings menu.
If you don't have a built-in display (like a laptop or tablet), the display brightness slider in Quick Settings won't be available. In that case, you'll need to use your display's (general) brightness slider to change the brightness.
