If Windows 11 does not turn out exactly as you expected, Microsoft will allow you to revert to Windows 10. Note, you will have only about ten days if you want to do so.

Microsoft's Windows 11 preview is already available to Insiders. The final version of the operating system is expected to ship with new systems later this year, when it will be available as a free upgrade for existing PC owners, though automatic updates won't roll out until 2022.
That's certainly plenty of time to see how the new operating system turns out, but there may be things you'll only be able to appreciate when you check it out for yourself. In the past, once you upgraded to a newer version of Windows, you were stuck there, but according to the Windows 11 FAQ that Microsoft has provided to manufacturers, they say it will be possible to revert to Windows 10.

For accuracy, the document states:
After installing the Windows 11 upgrade, there is a 10‑day period during which you can roll back to Windows 10 while retaining the files and data you have with you. After the 10 days you will need to back up your data and perform a «clean install» to roll back to Windows 10.
If your main taskbar appears overwhelming, you can easily revert to an older operating system. The Update & Security menu in Windows Settings allows you to restore your system to the previous version of Windows 10, with all the applications and data you had.

The document also notes that Windows 10 will be supported with updates until October 2025, and possibly beyond that, depending on how the usage of Windows 11 proceeds.
