Microsoft has released its new Selfie App on Android, after previously offering it on iOS, as it plans to conquer rival mobile platforms with its own apps and services.
Micr0s0ft Selfie is an app whose purpose is to improve the quality of Selfies, but what it basically does is apply some filters that allow you to compare the original with the “Photoshopped” version.
The software giant says the app works based on information it takes from the original photo, such as gender, skin tone, and age, so that the final result can be significantly improved. This means that different settings will be suggested for each photo using algorithms that Microsoft promises are very accurate.
The app is not at all difficult to use and actually boasts a User Interface that is simple and straightforward, so you won't be spending too much time figuring out which feature is which. Plus, it's completely free, so you can always install it on your phone to see what it's all about.
Windows Phone users currently don't have a dedicated selfie app (apart from the Lumia Selfie that's already available), but Microsoft can somehow count on the fact that it's already available on iOS and Android devices. The app is called the Microsoft Selfie APK and you can download it at any time.
We recommend it to you as we believe that an application exclusively for Selfies that also Photoshops the photo will prove to be particularly useful!
