The app has just been updated to version 2.0.4.
The new Wireshark 2.0.4 is a major release with patches for many security issues discovered in the third version.
The new update fixes (full changelog at the end of the post) 9 security errors and 30 bugs:
Many application malfunctions that caused crashes have been addressed in Wireshark 2.0.4, especially in the IEEE 802.11 dissector, UMTS FP dissector, Ethernet dissector, and some USB dissectors.
The release of Wireshark 2.0.4 also marks the update and support for more protocols, including: AIPv4, IEEE 802.11, ICMPv6, Ethernet, NFS, AFS, GSM A RR, ANSI IS-637 A, DCERPC SPOOLS, BACapp, LPADm, BT BNEP, SMB, Cisco FabricPath MiM, USB, UMTS FP, CSN.1, OpenFlow, DIS, TZSP, MRCPv2, JXTA, ISUP, LAPSat, J1939, STT, SGsAP, and LTE-RRC.
It should also be noted that Toshiba, Aethra, Catapult DCT2000, iSeries, CoSine, VMS TCPIPtrace, DBS Etherwatch, ERF, NetScreen, and Ixia IxVeriWave capture file formats have been updated and are fully supported by the new Wireshark.
