Virustotal Uplink for Android

The official VirusTotal app for Android hasn't been updated since 2012, which means that many people are opting for third-party apps to scan their apps and files for malicious content.

Of course, this is noteworthy, as VirusTotal is a Google company.

Somewhere here comes VirusTotal Uplink, a new application for Android devices that offers everything the official VirusTotal application does and even more.VirusTotal Uplink

The biggest addition to the features is the ability to scan every file stored on the device or in a connected cloud hosting account, such as Google Drive or Dropbox.

The application displays all previous scans chronologically in the interface upon startup. With a click of a button, it adds options to scan an installed application or file in the lower right corner.

VirusTotal Uplink calculates results using known file fragmentation values if the fragmentation is already known.

From the settings list, you can change the app's functionality. You can change the configuration to delete old reports automatically, or change the notification options (the default notifies you every time a scan is completed).
