The NSA is very provocatively asking for closer cooperation from high-tech companies

The National Security Agency’s director of intelligence said today that the “way to achieve credibility in cyberspace” is to increase cooperation between the government and high-tech companies. It was a truly ironic statement, given that Edward Snowden has already revealed that the NSA is working with the biggest tech companies.

The NSA documents leaked by Snowden prove that the NSA's goal is to obtain a backdoor in every commercial communication product and weaken encryption. When asked about it today, NSA Director of Intelligence Debora Plunkett, who gave the opening speech at the New York Institute of Technology Cyber Security Conference, flatly refused to discuss the issue. However, her opening speech was aimed at convincing hardware and software vendors to work more closely with the NSA.
As we have already mentioned in our previous publications, the Secret Services will not stop doing their job, despite all the promising statements of the respective governments.
