Now you can discover all the Pokemon that exist in the world with this Pokemon Go hack
If you're facing a problem, Reddit is the place to go. You can always count on fellow Redditors to help you out with hacks, cheats, and solutions, and Pokemon Go is no exception. Since Pokemon Go was released, there have been at least two hacks that have provided fellow Redditors with tips and cheats. One of them is /r/PokemonGoDEV. It's mostly centered around Python scripts, the favorite language of reverse engineers around the world.
One such Redditor has reverse engineered the Pokemon Go App Python script to reveal the game's inner workings.
The Redditor didn't actually hack Niantic's servers, but simply re-engineered the HTTPS requests the app receives from the game's servers. By continuing to investigate the parameters in the server requests, some users discovered a way to reveal spawn points and use them to create maps of nearby Pokemon and other in-game elements.
One such tutorial is called: How to Create Your Own Google Map of All Nearby Pokemon. Redditors have also made standalone desktop applications for Mac, Linux, and Windows and CLI tools to collect data about Pokemon spawn points. Niantic has been sent a cease and desist order.
