It's Official and Here Comes… the Reddit Android App! – Reddit is one of the most popular websites on the internet. It's the self-proclaimed Internet front page. However, despite its huge userbase, Reddit still doesn't offer an official app for Android.
Third-party clients are of course available to anyone who wants them, and Reddit offers an app for Ask Me Anything sessions, but there's no official app for the entire site. Well, it's time for that to change. Reddit's official Android app is set to launch very soon.
This information comes from Reddit's new CEO, Steve Huffman himself, who revealed to the site that an Android app is "in active development." This will be good news for many Reddit Android users
Android users have been waiting for this official app for a long time. Especially after the launch of an “official client” app in October of last year following the company’s acquisition by popular Reddit client Alien Blue. While we don’t have an exact release date for the Android app, it looks like Reddit users might not have to wait too long.
Soon Android users will be able to browse their favorite subreddits with the official app. It's way ahead of its time.
