Facegloria: New social network with “Amen” instead of Like!

facegloriaFacegloria, the new social network that imitates Facebook, the first social network for Christians where, as the site states in a brief description, you can share love and Christian wisdom!

The social network already has over 100,000 users and was created by a group of Catholics in Brazil. It naturally offers minimal features compared to other social networks, but it stands out as the first and only social networking tool for the Christian community.

amen

The new network has many limitations, such as a word limit of 600 words, and instead of Likes, users can click “Amen”! It is currently only available in Portuguese, but it may soon be translated into other languages and a corresponding mobile application will be released.

"In other social media, and especially on Facebook, one encounters a lot of violence and pornography. So we thought of creating a medium where we could talk about God, share our love for him, praise him and spread his word," notes Atilla Barros, the main founder of Facegloria.

Together with the 3 co-founders of the site, Barrosaims to attract more and more people to this, admittedly special social media.
