Americans are eavesdropping on us via a Chrome app

Americans are eavesdropping on us through a Chrome application that was downloaded "silently" and without any warning to our computers

On 6/17/2015 and without any announcement, DARPA secretly and silently downloaded an application (a code) to every computer running Chrome, which without notification turns on the microphones and listens to conversations.

So this "black box" of our computers records everything.

Americans are eavesdropping on us via a Chrome app
The Americans are eavesdropping on us through the CHROME application. On 6/17/2015 and without any announcement, DARPA secretly and silently downloaded an application (a code) to every computer that has CHROME, which without notification opens the microphones and listens to conversations.

According to Rick Falkvinge of Private Internet Access, who discovered the app and complained to Google, the company responded in general terms that yes, it did install it, but its intention is not to activate theapp without the approval of millions of users.

The fact that they did it secretly is a behavior that is part of the core Google Chrome .
