The original Red Dead Redemption has been released for PS4, Nintendo Switch and, finally, now for PC.

Rockstar announced that the game, along with the Undead Nightmare side story, will be available on PC on October 29. Players will have the opportunity to enjoy new settings designed specifically for the platform, which will improve and highlight the game experience.

Last year, Rockstar released ports of Red Dead Redemption for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. According to The Verge's Andrew Webster, Red Dead Redemption performed well on Switch, though other Rockstar ports haven't had the same success. Earlier this year, wording on the PlayStation Store for RDR hinted that a long-awaited PC port might be on the way, and now we have confirmation: Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare will be releasing for PC on October 29th.

This provides Rockstar 's die-hard fans with a new experience while they wait for GTA VI, which is scheduled for release in the fall of 2025.
