The annual WWDC keynote is largely where Apple unveils updates to its operating systems. With big changes expected to be on the way for iOS 18, some users may be wondering if their older iPhone will be able to run it at all.
On Monday, a leaker known for his accuracy in such matters posted on X that a previous post from April had been “confirmed.” That previous post stated that all iPhone models compatible with iOS 17 will also work with iOS 18.
If true, this means that there will be no iOS 17 devices that will be dropped from the list of supported devices for iOS 18.

Note that running iOS 18 on an device does not mean it will support all features. For example, most of the Apple Intelligence on the device are expected to require iPhone 15 or later.
